Established in the year 1959 by the great visionaries like late Shri. Vinayakrao Patil, Shri. Dadasaheb Savant and others. Govt. of Maharashtra felicitated in the year 2001 as the “Best Educational Institute”. M.S.P. Mandal celebrated the Golden Jubilee Ceremony in the year 2009. It presently runs the 13 Sr. Colleges, Engineering colleges and polytechnic institutes 04, Pharmacy College 01, Law Colleges 02, PG Institutes of Managements (MBA) 02, College of Education 01, 40 Jr. Colleges, 56 Secondary Schools, 13 Primary Schools, 6 English medium Schools and 3475 dedicated teachers in the field of humanities, social sciences, Commerce and Management, Science and Technology, Computer and IT, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering and Management Science have been imparting quality education to more than 1 Lac students every year.
The Milestone Events
During the last 50 years the MSP Mandal has strived hard to achieve the following aims with the motto ‘Tamso Ma Jyotirgamay’ meaning lead all form darkness to light, from ignorance to knowledge, from will to vision.
The MSP Mandal has strived hard to attain these objectives and succeeded to a large extent. As a mark of recognition and encouragement the Government of Maharashtra honoured the MSP Mandal as the “Best Educational Institute” with Rs. One lac and a certificate.
Credited with the organisation of the 77th ‘ALL INDIA LITERARY MEET’ in Deogiri campus innaugrated by Hon. Shri Sharad Pawar and presided over by Mr. R. G. Jadhay. The Golden Jubilee Ceremony of M. S.P. Mandal was inaugurated by Her Highness, Smt. Pratibhatai Devi Singh Patil the Honorable President of India. Recipients of special assistance of Rs. 50 Lakhs from the State Govt. on completing 50 years. A leading institute in the NAAC re-accreditation having 5 A Grade and 5 B Grade colleges with respectable CGPA. Recipients of UGC College with potential for excellence status for 3 colleges. Continual guidance and inspiration provided by Shri. Satish B. Chavan, the Secretary, has been invaluable in shaping this institution. M.S.P. Mandal is an organization of agriculturists, industrialists, freedom fighters, social workers, businessmen, MLAs, contractors, doctors, advocates having a high career profile, commitment to the social interest and dedication to the work.
The M.S.P. Mandal, led by the Secretary, Shri. Satish Bhanudasrao Chavan, President, Shri. Prakash Solunke and their able colleagues with new vigor and zeal, has achieved fast academic development and now emerged as a genuine centre of knowledge and wisdom.
